Ed Lazear Says Negative Growth May Be Here


While Carlyle Capital endures the modern day version of a "bank run", President Bush's Chief Economic Adviser suggested the U.S. economy could go negative in this quarter. George W. Bush noted his administration's early recognition of the problem. He and Congress acted quickly to give the economy a "booster shot". Let's hope they designed it better than this season's flu shot. Bush's CDC did designed that immunization, which unfortunately was way off target.
