Trump II will host a State Dinner for Chinese President Xi. The invitee list reads like a Trump stock trading portfolio.
One used to be able to see the attendee list on the White House website, but those days of actual information availability have past (alongside ethics standards).
Politicians Red & Blue love PEU (private equity underwriters) and their new TechGod brethren. Increasingly, more are one and this crew loves to show off their insider connections and personal wealth. Expect a legendary soiree of obscene excess.
Update 9-28-26: Stocktwits reported:
According to the most recent disclosures, Trump made more than 1,000 trades in July, mostly in tech stocks. Trump sold $5 million to $25 million each in Microsoft and Amazon, then bought back smaller amounts of both. The president also traded Oracle (ORCL), Intuit (INTU), Marvell (MRVL), Salesforce (CRM), Meta Platforms (META), Nvidia (NVDA), ServiceNow (NOW), Workday (WDAY), and Adobe (ADBE).
It turns out TechGods are not fans of democracy.
